Ray McGarry has called Montgomery County home since graduating from law school in 1989. A dedicated resident of Abington, he and his wife raised their three daughters in the community, with each graduating from the Abington School District. In March of last year, Ray celebrated a new milestone—becoming a grandfather for the first time.

For over two decades, Ray has been an active leader in Abington, serving on the School Board for 24 years from 1997 to 2021, including 13 years as Board President. His leadership helped guide the district through critical decisions that shaped the future of local education.
